Finding a lawyer to help with your important family planning needs can be an intimidating process. Of course, you want to know if the lawyer has the skill and knowledge to help with your specific legal need. But, you also want to know how much the lawyer is going to charge. Most importantly you want to know whether the lawyer is someone you will like and trust.

I’ll be honest with you, most lawyers have the skill and knowledge to handle your legal needs. In fact, finding a qualified lawyer is the easiest part of the hiring process. The difficult part is finding a lawyer who puts your needs front and center; who serves your needs with empathy and understanding; and who is upfront and clear about their fees.

I started Riddle Law with the simple goal of providing outstanding legal services to the members of my community with honesty, empathy, and transparency. It is my privilege to help you plan your future. I promise to always keep you up-to-date, to make it easy to communicate with me, and to be upfront and honest about my fees by charging an easy-to-understand flat fee for most services.

Who I am

I am an Okie, born and raised.

I grew up in what was at the time the small community of Newcastle. I played football and basketball. I hunted and fished. I learned the Oklahoma work ethic.

I’m the oldest child of two hardworking parents. My mom was raised in the small northwest Oklahoma farming community of Cherokee. My dad, though born in Arizona, grew up in the shadows of the Arbuckle Mountains. My parents taught my brother and me the value of education (they were both schoolteachers at one time), to deliver on our word, and most importantly, to be loyal to our family, friends, and community.

I moved to Kansas to attend law school, and after graduating with my JD, I spent 17 years in Wichita honing my legal skills while serving clients throughout Kansas. My wife, Amber, and I grew to love Kansas, but we always knew our hearts were in Oklahoma. That’s why in 2022 we decided to come home. Oklahoma is our home, and we look forward to spending more time with our family and friends, and to serving the community that has given so much to us.

My Credentials

  • BA, Oklahoma State University, 2001
  • JD, University of Kansas, 2005
  • Licensed in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Federal Courts

Degrees and awards are great. I’ve earned several during my career. My greatest accomplishment, however, is having so many former clients who think of me as a friend or family member. No courtroom victories or professional awards will ever take the place of a handshake, hug, or simple thank you note from a happy client. I share with my clients their fears and uncertainties, but also their hopes and dreams. Nothing will ever bring me more professional joy than seeing those hopes and dreams come true.
